[ecrea] CFP Framing the Furry Paradigm: Fandom Divergences and the Creation of Community (PCA/ACA 2013)

The Fan Theory Area of the Popular Culture Association / American
Culture Association seeks proposals on the furry fandom. The PCA/ACA
National Conference will be held March 27-30, 2013 at the Wardman Park
Marriott in Washington, D.C. The aim of this special-interest panel is
to examine furries from the fan studies perspective and welcomes topics
on the following areas such as these:
* Influences of the Furry Fandom
* Interactions between the Furry Fandom and other fandoms
* Text Production of the Furry Fandom
* Loci of Furry Activity (e.g. Internet and Conventions)
Abstracts of 100-250 words may be submitted to the PCA/ACA database,
with "Fan Theory" as the Topic Area. The deadline to submit is November
30, 2012.
