[ecrea] Call for panels: Fifth European Conference on African Studies (ECAS 2013): African Dynamics in a Multipolar World -

The *fifth European Conference on African Studies (ECAS 5) *will take 
place in *Lisbon*, Portugal, on June 26 to 28, 2013. It will be 
organized by the Centro de Estudos Africanos - Instituto Universitário 
de Lisboa <http://cea.iscte.pt/?lang=en> (Center of African Studies of 
the University Institute of Lisbon) on behalf of AEGIS 
<http://aegis-eu.org/>, the Africa-Europe Group for Interdisciplinary 
Studies. Its general theme will be 'African Dynamics in a Multipolar World'


*The Call for panels closes 19th October 2012*
All proposals must be made via the online form: 
http://nomadit.co.uk/ecas/ecas2013/panelproposal.php5 . Proposals should 
consist of a panel title, a (very) short abstract of <300 characters, 
and an abstract of 250 words. The proposal may also include the names of 
any chairs or discussants, although these can be added subsequently 
using the login environment, /Cocoa/. Please use the convention of 
Firstname Lastname (Institution). If these roles are to be taken by 
convenors, then please do not enter your own names there - as it's 
implicit that this will be the case where other names are not listed.
