CALL FOR PAPERS - Nordic Journal of Digital Literacy: Special Issue
4/2012: CULTURES OF DIGITAL PRODUCTION AND MOVING IMAGES
The Nordic Journal of Digital Literacy invites authors engaged in youth
cultures and cultures of digital production of moving images to submit
research articles on the following themes:
- Filmfestivals for young people. Participation and learning trajectories.
- Cultures of digital production and media education.
- Youth culture and the emergence of moving images.
- Digital literacy and editing in moving images production.
We welcome contribution from different parts of the world as the
targeted audience is international scholars, researchers, policy makers
and education specialists which can contribute to a forum for
interdisciplinary work and public debate about the consequences of
moving images and ICT for research on digital literacy practices in
particular and in educational research in general.
Authors are encouraged to submit articles that illustrate research
results, report on projects, reviews on work with moving images,
participation and learning in filmfestivals for youngsters or surveying
works of digital production practices.
SUBMISSION FORMAT:
All submissions must be written in English, and must be formatted
according to APA-6.
Submissions must be original, and should not have been published
previously, or be under review for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts
should not exceed 35.000 characters including spaces and paragraph marks.
Papers for the Nordic Journal of Digital Literacy are selected through
peer review, to ensure quality, appropriateness and readability. Papers
will be evaluated according to their significance, originality, content,
style, clarity and relevance to the journal.
