Las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación representan 
el núcleo simbólico del imaginario de la sociedad de la información y/o 
del conocimiento. El presente libro se adentra en su interpretación 
considerando algunas de sus significaciones: las promesas, la 
neutralidad, la movilidad, la conexión permanente, sus espacialidades y 
el papel del miedo y la monstruosidad. Desde ese punto de vista se 
reflexiona también sobre la importancia de la educación y su relación 
con la sociedad de las TIC.
