Who will pay for Welsh journalism? The Wales news media landscape - framing the debate.

Saturday, 7th November 2015
Centre for Media and Cultural in Small Nations,
University of South Wales,
The ATRiuM (Zen room), 86-88 Adam Street, Cardiff CF24 2FN

The Wales news media landscape conference is convened by the National Union of Journalists and the University of South Wales’s Centre for the Study of Media and Culture in Small Nations, and is led by Dr Robert Campbell, Dr Ruth McElroy and Dr Philip Mitchell. This one-day event is conceived as a follow-up to the Future of the press in Wales conference which we hosted in November 2011. This is an opportunity to analyse the crisis in the Welsh news media and to look for solutions which will provide the citizens of Wales with the journalism and the media they need in the future. We are looking forward for new ideas which can provide a way forward for news media landscape in Wales. Attendance is free of charge, but registration is required (limited space). Please register your attendance via Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/who-will-pay-for-welsh-journalism-the-wales-news-media-landscape-tickets-18882918317) or email (christina.papagiannouli /at/ southwales.ac.uk)<mailto:(christina.papagiannouli /at/ southwales.ac.uk)>.
