THEMES
Among media experts there is constantly an animated debate on the nature of the Internet, online communication, and changes that the Internet causes in our daily lives. The essence of the Internet is the communication that takes place on many levels and with the use of different techniques. The potential that lies in the communication capabilities of the Internet, was recognized by the experts in the field of public relations, advertising and marketing, who used it to build brand awareness and raise its supporters. At the same time, however, there have been cases where the power of the Internet led to serious branding crises of companies and products. At the same time we are not talking only about the typical Internet advertising and Web sites, business cards representing institutions (which, by the appropriate positioning fight for the top position in search engines). The enormous potential in this regard, lies also in the social media, blogs, and applications. Internet strategies, campaign planning, consumer behavior - it all becomes the object of the increased and deeper research. The Internet is becoming the recruitment space and attraction to potential employers. It is a place of animated activities of religions, churches and religious associations. It simply becomes a virtual marketplace of products, and also of ideas and opinions.
All these issues will be the subject of our conference deliberations.
The main thematic areas:
- Branding on the Internet
- Branding crises on the Internet: the genesis, prevention, resolution
