Communication Papers:  Media Literacy & Gender Studies (ISSN 2014-6752) by the University of Girona is a peer-reviewed,open-access electronic journal published in English, Spanish, and Catalan twice a year. Based on media and communication studies disciplines, the journal focuses on journalism, audiovisual communication, and advertising, with particular emphasis on the issues of gender treatment and media literacy. Communication Papers focuses on publishing articles on mass communication from diverse perspectives. This new issue consists of various research on gender, media, and communication from different parts of the world.
