No. 4 (2017) of Javnost-The Public has just been published.

It is a special issue on 'Populism and Nationalism: Constructing and Representing ‘the People’ as Underdog and Nation'. The issue was guest edited by Benjamin De Cleen and Yannis Stavrakakis.

The special issue illuminates the crucial relationship between populism and nationalism. It includes conceptual reflections on the differences and relations between the two, a variety of case studies, and reflections on the role of media and communication.
