This publication, free to download from www.romanianprotests.info <http://www.romanianprotests.info/>, might be of interest to some.

Dr Darren G. Lilleker from Bournemouth University and I (Prof Dr Ana Adi, Quadriga University of Applied Sciences) have recently edited and launched a report dedicated to the recent protests in Romania.

What’s in it for you?

The report, written in English, includes 25 contributions from journalists, activists, academics and protesters and covers various aspects of the protests from the history of protest and Romania’s history of fighting against corruption to capturing the voices and reactions of protesters in the Romania and abroad, legislators and politicians.

You might find particularly intriguing:

- Monica Macovei’s, former Minister of Justice and current MEP, perspective on the

European Union’s reactions to the protests

-Cosmin Pojoranu’s, from NGO Funky Citizens, overview of Romania’s protests post-2010 and the lessons in activist and strategic communication learned

-Raluca Feher’s, from Frontline Romania, reflection on her petition to advertisers to

stop supporting fake news TV stations

-Dumitru Bortun and Bianca Cheregi’s, from the National University of Political and Administrative Studies, assessment of the͞ old͟ and ͞new͟ Romanias, personified by

these protests

-Peter Gross’s, from the University of Tennessee, evaluation of Romania’s path.

Download. Feedback. Share.

You can download report for free from www.romanianprotests.info.

Once you have read it, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts about the information and points of views expressed in the report. Also, if you could think of others that would find it interesting/intriguing and/or worth reading, please do invite them to download it as well.
