Imaginations is an international bilingual journal hosted at the University of Alberta in Canada that publishes artwork and peer-reviewed articles on image studies. The journal acts as a nexus where academics and visual artists from different disciplines, cultures, national histories, and linguistic traditions can engage in dialogue to reflect on approaches and create new vocabulary for addressing the notion of the image. Imaginations also hosts a review-section called elicitations. Imaginations publishes in English and French.

Imaginations est une revue internationale bilingue basée à l’Université de l’Alberta au Canada qui accueille des articles évalués par les pairs en langue originale et en traduction, ainsi que des portfolios d’artistes invités. Imaginations se veut un forum de réflexion, un carrefour de différentes perspectives linguistiques et artistiques présentant des travaux novateurs et pluridisciplinaires sur les images en contextes interculturels. Imaginations accueille également une section de comptes rendus critiques sous le nom de élicitations. La revue est publiée en français et en anglais.
