Head of School of the Arts and Media, UNSW

The University of New South Wales (UNSW) is one of the world’s leading 
universities, currently ranked at 45 (QS ranking) and is known to be 
Australia’s powerhouse of cutting-edge research, teaching, innovation 
and creativity.

It’s School of the Arts and Media is currently seeking a new Head of 
School. The Head of School plays a key role in facilitating delivery of 
the UNSW 2025 Strategy’s strategic priorities of academic excellence, 
social engagement and global impact. Marked by deep intellectual 
leadership, the successful candidate should bring academic credibility 
in an appropriate discipline, combined with breadth of academic vision, 
strategic thinking, and demonstrable experience leading and inspiring 
teams in an innovative, research-intensive environment. They will be 
able to develop partnerships both within and external to the School, 
along with driving diversity and inclusion within the School.
