Fifth Annual Conference Of The International Association For The Study
Of The Culture Of Cities (IASCC)
The conference on Intangible Heritage: Scenes of Urban Innovation will
convene on July 10-13, 2018 at The National Technical University of
Athens (NTUA) in Athens, Greece and is co-sponsored by the Culture of
Cities Centre, Toronto. Hosted in collaboration with York University,
Carleton University, St. Jerome’s University and the University of
Waterloo, this is the fifth annual meeting in the series of conferences
and research initiatives on Scenes of Urban Innovation, organized by the
International Association for the Study of the Culture of Cities (IASCC).
Deadline for Abstract Submissions: Monday April 22nd, 2018 at midnight.*
*Please note that the selection committee will consider presenter
abstracts in advance of the April 8th acceptance date. Please indicate
whether or not you require an early review in order to make travel
arrangements or applications for funding to your institution.
FEE SCHEDULE (Prices in Canadian Dollars)
Includes mandatory IASCC membership fee, coffee breaks, and opening
evening reception.
Early – Faculty Member, Executive Director, Producer $290.00
Early – Student, Arts/Culture worker, Independent Scholar $120.00
Registration (After May 16th) – Faculty Member, Executive Director,
Producer $380.00
Registration (After May 16th) – Student, Arts/Culture Worker,
Independent Scholar $160.00

Acceptance Letters Sent: April 10th/April 25th, 2018
Early Registration Closes: May 15th, 2018
