Pay TV set to skyrocket in Italy

Italy is set to become one of the fastest-growing markets for pay-TV in
Europe, a recent survey by PriceWaterhouseCoopers found.
At the end of 2000, the Italian pay-TV market generated E1.42bn. This
figure is expected to jump to E3.27bn by 2005. Between 2001 and 2003,
the Pay TV market in Italy is expected to nearly double from E1.5bn to
E2.6bn.
