II Communicating Science: Emerging Publication Models

We invite you to present your abstract to the 2nd International Conference Communicating Science, that will take place at the Faculty of Arts and Letters of Unversidade da Beira Interior on the 21th and 22th of May 2015.?The abstract should be 500 words maximum and the deadline to submit ends on March 10th 2015.

IMPORTANT DATES:

March 10th: abstract submission March 20: speakers notification April 20: full paper submission

This international conference is organized by Labcom at Universidade da Beira Interior. Keynote Speakers include, among others, Jeffrey Beall, Allen Wilhite, Félix Moya Anegon, Moisés Matins.

Selection criteria: papers will be subject to a double blind peer review process.

• Scientific publication’s future ?Working Languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French. ?Conference outputs: Papers presented at the conference will be published in a special issue of the journal Communication Studies (ISSN: 1646-4974) currently indexed in Scielo, DoaJ, EBSCO, Latindex, Ulrich, and under review by Scopus and Web of Science. ?Selected papers will be published in a book (not proceedings) with english and portuguese editions. These volumes will have a paperback edition, and an Open Access electronic edition, to maximise dissemination. ?
