[ecrea] New book on environmental communication: "Communication et environnement, le pacte impossible", Thierry Libaert
Thu Oct 28 22:13:19 GMT 2010
I am glad to send a message
about a new French book published by Thierry Libaert (professor at the
Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium):
"Communication et environnement, le pacte impossible", Paris,
Presses Universitaires de France.
The book is published in the "Innovation institutionnelle"
collection, with the support of the University of Lausanne and of the
Nicolas Hulot Foundation (France).
The book analyses the complex and ambiguous relations between
environmental problems and communication. Thierry Libaert tries to go
beyond both critical analysis (criticism on greenwashing) and the
how-to-do-it approach (how to communicate in a good way on sustainable
development): instead, he underlines the relations between these two
opposite positions. For example, the author wants to analyse how
environmental problems (e.g. global warming) influence our communication
processes, instead of focusing on what communication brings to the
environmental sphere.
Here you are the link to the presentation of the book :
