Mixed Bill's Comedy in Crisis Conference

The 2 day event will include keynote addresses by Dr Kavyta Raghunandan 
from Leeds Becket University (on Comedy and the Crises of Racial 
Injustice) and Dr Helen Davies from University of Wolverhampton (on 
Comedy as a Coping Mechanism During the Pandemic). Panel topics include: 
comedy and mental health crises, comedy and identity crises, and comedy 
and political crises.

In addition, an Industry Panel assembled in collaboration with BCU's Sir 
Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity will consider the continuing 
crisis of diversity in UK TV and Radio comedy.
