[Commlist] Job Call Posting Department of Communication, the University of Tampa

The Department of Communication within the College of Arts and Letters 
at the University of Tampa seeks to hire a full-time Assistant Teaching 
Professor of Communication to begin August 2022. This is a continuing 
non-tenure-track position, which is eligible for professional promotion.

We are looking for a communication generalist who is able to teach 
undergraduate courses such as Media and Society, Visual Literacy, and 
other critical media and film studies courses. The teaching load for 
this position is four courses (16 credit hours) per semester. The 
successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in undergraduate 
teaching. We welcome innovative pedagogies, and varied research agendas 
and traditions of scholarship. A Ph.D. in Communication or a relevant 
field is required. Candidates who are ABD will be considered, but all 
degree requirements must be completed by the beginning of the fall 2022 
semester.
