We would like to warmly invite you to attend this year's *New Directions in Media and Sociology Research 2018 Conference *which will be**held at the University of Leicester, The School of Media, Communications, and Sociology on *Wednesday, September 19th 2018**. *

The topic for this year's conference is *“Digital Lives and Alternative Politics”. *Confirmed keynote speakers are Professor Natalie Fenton from Goldsmiths, University of London and Dr. Lina Dencik from Cardiff University.
