*TRANSFORMATION IN PRIVACY*

Istanbul University Faculty of Communication Journal is waiting for the articles that themed "TRANSFORMATION IN PRIVACY".

Istanbul University Faculty of Communication Journal, which is an open access, peer-reviewed scholar journal indexed in Web of Science – Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) and Ulakbim TR Index, covered in databases of ProQuest and CrossRef, has identified the theme of its 54th issue as “Transformation in Privacy”. The aim of the issue is to reveal, investigate and research the reflections of transformation in privacy concept on various fields of communication. In the 54th issue, as change in perception of privacy and, role of advancing communication technologies and new ways of communication and media on this change are examined, such topics among the ones to be scrutinized come to the front: digital enclosure, use of mobile phone/social media and transformation of identity, social media platforms and emotional records, their reflections on digital media, online groups, transformation of the self. Submission deadline for the manuscripts you prepared on the topics regarding the theme, from different viewpoints of different fields and with theoretical framework is as in below.
