    Introduction

Media is playing role in shaping the attitudes of responsibility in general population which is more and more important nowadays and media is the important mode of passing each and everything to the general population. In all type of media Social media now a days have important position in the life style of every generation. Social media on one side is a mode of communication, sharing feelings and sharing information with each other, on the other hand it is also enhancing the knowledge general population.

There are various environment issues now days, which are in the lime light. In the face of worsening environment conditions of the world, climate change, the problem of waste disposal, increasing pollution, etc., are an important issue. Development of environmental awareness, or more broadly- promotion of the idea of sustainable development has become a goal, or a policy of not only government and NGOs. Social media is playing is important role in the sharing of various types of environmental issues and suitable solutions of these issues. It is also updating the people about different types of disasters and precautionary measures. Now a day’s peoples are using various modes of social media to share different incidents that took place at their places. Therefore the book will be helpful to understand the pros and cons of social media in the Environmental awareness and management of various environmental issues.


    Objective

This publication will lead to awareness among the masses of the countries working in this field. This is a new area of research in the media communication and environmental science which can represent that how social media plays a key role in the conservation of environment and save the life of peoples during disaster.

The book will also be helpful in increasing the research data in this field as very less no of book are available for the particular topic.
