Capitalism, Crime and Media Conference
University of Winchester
22 April 2016
One of the distinctive features of the new century is the centrality of
media and processes of mediation in our experience and understanding of
social reality. The Department of Applied Social Studies and the School
of Media and Film at the University of Winchester are hosting an
interdisciplinary conference to explore this development in relation to
our understanding of contemporary social realities, particularly
processes relating to capitalism, crime and processes of criminal justice.
