CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR CINEMA COMPARAT/IVE CINEMA ISSUE 10 (deadline 
extension: 10th October)

STAR SYSTEM IN EUROPE

The issue number 10 will examine the approaches to film stardom in 
European production. Numerous scholars, like Angela Dalle Vacche, Antje 
Ascheid, Heide Schlüpmann, Bruce Babington, Eva Woods Peiró or Christian 
Viviani among others, have made important contributions to the Star 
Studies from a European perspective. This monographic issue aims to 
analyse this field, to establish methodological relations between these 
contributions and to discover new insights into the study of European 
film stardom.

Send brief 500-word proposals to (comparativecinema /at/ upf.edu) along with a 
list of five related bibliographical sources and a short 100-word bio. 
Deadline: October 10th, 2016.
