We are holding the annual DiGRA (Digital Games Research Association)
Australia symposium this year at Swinburne University in Melbourne,
across November 17-18.

The conference theme this year is ‘Tensions’. Suggestions for potential
topics include (but are not limited to) representations of race, gender
and sexuality, sex in games, conflict as game mechanic, the aesthetics
of violence, and death and tension. Scholars from all disciplines,
including Media and Communications, are welcome.
