[ecrea] The Media Education Summit, 19-20 September (CFP).

The 6th national summit for media education will be hosted this year by Sheffield Hallam University. All teachers of media and creative subjects in schools, colleges and universities are welcome - as well as those researchers with a specific interest in media education and media literacy.

This year's keynote speakers are David Buckingham (Loughborough University), Susan Orr (Arts University London), Natalie Fenton (Goldsmiths College, University of London) and Barry Ryan (Warp Films).

Sarah Pink (RMIT University, Melbourne) will present to the Media Education Research Journal pre-conference workshop.

This year the Summit will feature poster presentations for the first time. The deadline for abstracts for posters and full papers is the 28th June. Selected papers will feature in a Summit edition of the Media Education Research Journal:
