[ecrea] ICA Pre-conference: Strategies for Media Reform

"Strategies for Media Reform: International Workshop"

The workshop will be held on June 17th at Goldsmiths, University of
London (UK), 9.30am-5:30pm, followed by a public rally in central
London at 7pm for ICA and non-ICA delegates addressing key issues
facing the international media reform movement.

In the context of multiple crises affecting media systems and cultures
across the world, the event will highlight efforts across a range of
countries to build vibrant and viable media reform movements and offer
participants the chance to reflect on the strategies required to
respond to the crises and to sustain campaigns for media democracy. It
will include discussion and examples of theory, advocacy and activism
that relate to contemporary reform environments.
