Acta Universitatis Sapientiae - Film & Media Studies, the international
scientific journal of the Sapientia University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania)
invites the submission of original, previously unpublished articles
written in English in the domain of film and media studies.
Deadline for the upcoming issue: February 25, 2012.
Information about the series:
- The journal was launched in 2009, and it has 1-2 issues annually.
- Articles are published both in the print form of the journal and are
accessible in full-text pdf form online. ISSN 2066-7779 (online
version), ISSN 2065-5924 (printed version)
- All articles are peer-reviewed by an international editorial board.
- Previous issues can be accessed online here:

Articles in all areas of film and media studies are welcome.
Papers we might especially be interested in may address (but are not
limited to) one of the following topics either from a theoretical point
of view or in the form of in-depth case studies:
- new trends in world cinema and the cinema of Eastern Europe,
- image, body and sound in the age of post media,
- questions regarding intermediality or media convergence,
- the phenomenology of new media, etc.

Please send your article as a word .doc, or .docx document together with
a short abstract (approx. 150-250 words), and the following information
about yourself:
a) academic affiliation (i.e. official name of the university or

country);
