We would like invite you to participate in The Special Track on =20
Politics and Information Systems, Technologies and Applications: PISTA =20
2012 (http://www.2012iiisconferences.org/pista) of The 6th =20
International Multi-Conference on Society, Cybernetics and =20
Informatics: IMSCI 2012 (http://www.2012iiisconferences.org/imsci), to =20
be held in Orlando, Florida, USA, on July 17th - July 20th, 2012, =20
jointly with The 10th International Conference on Education and =20
Information Systems, Technologies and Applications: EISTA 2012 =20
(http://www.2012iiisconferences.org/eista).

The deadline of papers/abstracts submission and invited session =20
proposals (for this 2nd CFP) is *December 20th, 2011*. The deadlines =20
for notification to authors and camera ready upload can be found at =20
the conference web site.

Deadlines for the collocated (same venue and time) conferences and =20
symposia can be found at www.iiisconferences.info/deadlines. (Check =20
the web site for possible extension of the submission deadline).

Submissions for Face-to-Face or for Virtual Participation are both =20
accepted. Both kinds of submissions will have the same reviewing =20
process and the accepted papers will be included in the same proceedings

=C2=95   Citizens and Governance in an Open Knowledge-Based Society
=C2=95   Security and Cyberspace

With the purpose of fostering *Inter-disciplinary Communications* =20
participants registered at any conference or symposia can attend =20
sessions of any session of any of the collocated events. Registered =20
participants will also receive a CD containing the proceedings of all =20
collocated events, and will have a password to access any virtual =20
session of the collocated events, so they can comment any paper =20
presented at any of the collocated events.

Pre-Conference and Post-conference Virtual sessions (via electronic =20
forums) will be held for each session included in the conference =20
program, so that sessions papers can be read before the conference, =20
and authors presenting at the same session can interact during one =20
week before and after the conference. Authors can also participate in =20
peer-to-peer reviewing in virtual sessions.

Authors of accepted papers who registered in the conference will have =20
access to the evaluations and possible feedback provided by the =20
reviewers who recommended the acceptance of their papers/abstracts, so =20
they can accordingly improve the final version of their papers. =20
Non-registered authors will not have access to the reviews of their =20
respective submissions.

Registration fees of an effective invited session organizer will be =20
waived according to the policy described in the web page  (click on =20
'Invited Session', then on 'Benefits for the Organizers of Invited =20
Sessions'), where you can get information about the ten benefits for =20
an invited session organizer. For Invited Sessions Proposals, please =20
visit the conference web site, or directly to =20
http://www.2012iiisconferences.org/pista/organizer.asp

A best paper will be selected for each session, and an award =20
certificate will be delivered in the award ceremony to the respective =20
presenting author. Authors of the best 10%-20% of the papers presented =20
at the conference (included those virtually presented) will be invited =20
to adapt their papers for their publication in the Journal of =20
Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics. (All papers to be presented at =20
the conference will be included in the conference proceedings)
