?How to Publish in the Social Sciences?

YECREA organizes a Young Scholars Workshop as a part of the
Interpersonal Communication and Social Interaction Section 2011
   Conference.

   Workshop Date: Thursday 8 September

   Workshop Theme:

Key factors to consider when preparing and submitting articles and
   other publications.

   Target Participants:

Postgraduate students and early career scholars researching within
the field of interpersonal communication and social interaction.

   Objectives:

To help young scholars to develop successful publishing plans.
To learn from the publishing experiences of established senior
   scholars in the field.
To share thoughts, questions and challenges related to publishing.
To network with other young scholars in your academic field.

   Content of the Workshop:

Senior scholars will give short presentations about their own
experiences of publishing as young scholars. Young scholars will be
made aware of important journals within the field of interpersonal
communication and social interaction, and will gain insight into the
   key considerations behind getting published.

Young scholars will be encouraged to share their experiences of the
publishing process and will have a unique opportunity to develop
their knowledge about publishing by participating in a question and
answer session at the Workshop, when attendees will gain from the
   wisdom of the professional panel.
