This is an initial call for papers for the 2nd annual NERFS (North East 
Regional Film Seminar) one-day conference, which is to be held at St 
Peter's Campus, Sunderland on Tuesday 28th June. We are currently 
looking for 20 minute presentations on any aspect of film/television 
studies in order to showcase the range of research being done on film in 
the north east of England (hence there is no overarching theme). If you 
are interested in attending or submitting a proposal for a paper then 
please email Steve Cannon and Billy Proctor at (nerfs2011 /at/ sunderland.ac.uk)

Also please pass this email on to any postgraduate students who you 
think would be interested in attending or presenting.

Deadline for submissions: 31st May 2011.
Keynote Speaker (to be confirmed).
