SPAIN - TRADITIONAL ADVERTISING AGENCIES LACK DIGITAL CULTURE
Spanish agencies of traditional advertising show lack of interest and
knowledge about digital possibilities, according to a research study by
marketing company Medialabs. Thirty six per cent of the 25 largest
Spanish advertising companies have no internet presence and only 16 per
cent have a corporate website in English. Companies with an internet
site (48 per cent), only use this space to present corporate
information, which is the result of a poor digital culture, the study
says. Only 25 per cent offer online advertising services. Regarding off
and online coherence, design and content presentation, Medialbs
considers only half of the sites reach a good level. Similarly, only
12.5 per cent of the websites indicate the companys contact address,
31.2 per cent do not offer an email address and 12.5 do not have their
own domain.
