[Commlist] Call for Proposals for ‘The Design Doctoral Consortium 2023’

The IDC School of Design, IIT Bombay, is organizing ‘The Design Doctoral 
Consortium 2023’ from 4^th -5^th March 2023 at the campus. This offers a 
platform for PhD students to present their research and get critical 
feedback and mentoring from distinguished researchers in the field. The 
closed room forum is open for 2nd to 4th year PhD students who have done 
substantial work in their research projects but still have scope for 
shaping their topic. Other PhD students who have advanced their studies 
and are keen on taking their research proposals further are also 
encouraged to apply.

The goal of the consortium is two-fold. One is to provide an opportunity 
for in-depth discussions regarding topic, method, results, writing 
within a network of multiple design scholars and experts. Second is to 
enhance and enrich design researchers’ network in India.

Those students are planning to submit to the DDC 2023, they must share 
their email id by submitting their Expression of Interest at this form

Interest and students will have to submit their proposals separately*.

The Shortlisted students with a defined research topic and approach will 
receive detailed feedback from the reviewers and mentors.

Following are the important dates:

*Submission Deadline– 31^st Jan*

*Shortlisting Results – 6^th Feb*

*Detailed Feedback for shortlisted participants– 19^th Feb*

*Consortium- 4^th and 5^th March*
