[Commlist] VAKKI Symposium 2022: Call for Papers - Responsible Communication

Welcome to the XLII symposium of VAKKI ry on February 10–11, 2022!

The symposium is arranged under the theme of *Responsible 
Communication*. We will gather together scholars from different fields 
of research to think about what constitutes responsible communication in 
society and how we can create communicational cultures that support 
responsibility. Given that the pandemic situation allows, the symposium 
will be held on site in Vaasa. We will however also be prepared to 
arrange a hybrid symposium.

The plenary speakers are:
– Associate Professor *Martin Hultman* (Chalmers University of 
Technology, Sweden)
– Professor *Nina Janich* (Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany)

Please submit your proposal for a workshop theme by October 29, 2021 to 
(symposium /at/ vakki.net) <mailto:(symposium /at/ vakki.net)>. The deadline for 
section presentation abstracts is on 10.12.2021.

Willkommen zum XLII. Symposium des VAKKI-Vereins 10.–11.2.2022!

Das Thema des Symposiums ist *Nachhaltige Kommunikation*. Wir bringen 
Vertreterinnen und Vertreter verschiedener Disziplinen zusammen, um 
Überlegungen darüber anzustellen, was nachhaltige Kommunikation in der 
Gesellschaft ausmacht und wie wir kommunikative Praktiken schaffen 
können, die Nachhaltigkeit und Verantwortung unterstützen. Sofern es die 
Pandemielage zulässt, findet das Symposium auf dem Campus in Vaasa 
statt. Bei Bedarf wird das Symposium im Hybridformat organisiert.

Die Plenarvortragenden sind:
