*One-Day Conference on the Classical Music Industry*

With speakers and delegates from both industry and academia, the Classical Music Industry conference is the first of its kind and aims to foster links between both sectors, allowing for debates that examine the industry from a range of angles.

*Gillian Moore CBE, Director of Music, Southbank Centre *will give the keynote address. Entitled /Who Needs Classical Music?/, the talk will explore the role of classical music in the 21st century. Talks throughout the day explore a range of topics including /Programming and Curation/, /the Composer Today/, /Diversity and Education/, /Live Music/, and the /Record Industry/.
