[ecrea] Conference Program 'Affect - Media - Power'

CRC 1171 Affective Societies and DGPuK division Sociology of Communication and Media are delighted to invite to *Affect-Media-Power* conference. The conference will be held from *June 29* to *July 1* at *Freie Universität Berlin*.

Please find attached the conference program. In *seven panels*, attendants will discuss theoretical approaches of affect studies as well as their application in media and communication studies. More than *30 international scholars* will present a broad range of theoretical and empirical research in affect studies. *Zizi Papacharissi* (Chicago), *Jens Eder* (Potsdam-Babelsberg) and *Brigitte Hipfl* (Klagenfurt) will take part as keynote speakers.

Registration fee is *50 Euro*. Please note the *reduced fee of 25 Euro* for part-time positions and students. All information on registration, accommodation and conference location can be found on our homepage: https://affektemedienmacht.wordpress.com/. Please note the deadlines for hotel booking.
