21st Century radio

Next issue of the journal Quaderns del CAC will be published in English 
again and the monographic section is devoted to the radio.



Proposals shall be referred to these topics of interest, among others:

- Radio and digitalization: types and multiple accesses. Internet radio, 
DAB situation, digital archives, podcast

- Interactivity with users: use and consumption, social networks, 
audience measurement, social audience

- Local, community radio and the third sector. The radio in school

- Public service and regulation

- Economic viability, crisis business model, changes in the value chain, 
monetizing online audiences

- Programming, formats, formulas and production routines

- Advertising: efficiency, creativity, branded content


We also encourage you to participate in the miscellaneous 'Articles' 
section, with contributions of ongoing research on audiovisual 
communication and culture. The call for papers for this section is 
permanently open.


The text must be original and unpublished and not be currently under 
consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers are refereed through 
a double-blind peer review process. Quaderns del CAC will provide the 
authors with the positive or negative result of the review within one 
month and a half after the submission of the article. The text must be 
submitted in accordance with the guidelines of the journal:
