Collaborative Media Initiative Conference 2011
"Collaboration in Media: Sharing Experiences, Paving the way for the
Future in Cyprus"
23-24 June 2011
Home for Cooperation, UN Buffer Zone, Nicosia
Organised under the auspices of the Collaborative Media Initiative (CMI)
Working Group, and with the support of the Cyprus Community Media
Centre, the main aim of this conference is to strengthen dialogue on
innovative approaches to media collaboration, and offer interim
solutions for future actions. It will also provide an opportunity to
re-evaluate and strengthen conflict resolution and policy contributions
to interventions in the media environment in Cyprus. The conference will
also highlight past and present experiences of successful media
collaboration in Cyprus, shared alongside international best practice in
the field. In addition, it will instigate an exchange of views and
opinions within Cyprus on how media collaboration can best serve the
interests of a future Cyprus.
