TWO DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN GEOMEDIA
The Department of Geography, Media and Communication (GMK), Karlstad 
University, Sweden invites applications for 2 doctoral positions:
1 position in Media and Communication Studies:

The positions entail full-time funding of a doctoral study programme 
leading to a doctor’s degree.
The doctoral positions are funded by the Geomedia research group, one of 
Karlstad University’s strong research environments, consisting of 
researchers from media and communication studies, human geography, 
tourism and film studies (presently 20 researchers). The applicant’s 
thesis proposal should be related to any of Geomedia's three research 
tracks:(1) /mediatization of space and culture/, (2) /spaces of news 
production and consumption/ and (3) /tourism and mobility studies/.
