[ecrea] Two nine-month non-tenure track positions

The Department of Communication at Texas A&M University invites applications for two lecturers starting September 1, 2014. This is a nine-month non-tenure track position, renewable annually for up to three years. Primary duties are to teach basic communication courses such as public speaking, technical speaking, argumentation and debate, rhetorical criticism, and communication technology skills with the possibility of also teaching upper-level courses in area of expertise. Preference will be given to applicants who are also able to teach upper-level courses in communication tactics, issues management, and social media as part of our new undergraduate certificate in strategic communication.

The department offers the PhD, MA, and BA degrees, and has 20 tenure-track faculty members, 55 graduate students, and over 1000 undergraduate majors.
