Societal Impacts of the Digital Society action

We propose:
The applicant to this call will be working on the ways in which information technology (IT), such as cloud computing paradigm, Web3.0 developments, digital memory etc., is being conveyed in society and on anticipation of the ways in which IT may impact the society. In particular, the applicant shall look into societal implications, such as ethics (including security), social, legal, institutional, of those emerging paradigms and developments.

We look for:
We look for a candidate with an interdisciplinary background, showing strong components of social sciences and Information Technologies. Ideally, the candidate should have a  background or experience in the field of Science and Technology Studies (STS). The candidate should have a publication record in international journals in the field covered by this call.
The candidate should be able to work in a creative and independent way and also as a team player.

Eligibility criteria for Grantholder category 30
PhD degree or a minimum of 5 years full time research experience after the first University degree giving access to doctoral (PhD) studies, in a field relevant to JRC's scientific activities.
