Irish Communications Review
Volume 11
 
 
 
 
We are pleased to invite papers for the next issue of Irish Communications
Review, volume 11.
 
ICR which has been published in DIT since 1991, is now under the remit of
the newly established Centre for Media Research.  This will provide enhanced
support for the work on the journal.  As before, its purpose is to provide a
forum in Ireland for research, analysis and discussion of all matters
relating to media communications across all platforms and including
broadcasting, film, journalism, public relations, advertising, media
education and media technologies. Earlier issues may be viewed at:
www.icr.dit.ie. 
 
The editors, Nora French, Brian O¹Neill and Harry Browne, welcome papers on
all aspects of the media in Ireland or with relevance to Ireland from
academic researchers and media practitioners.
 
Those interested in submitting an article are requested to firstly submit a
brief proposal (250 words) by 1 December, 2008. The deadline for completed
articles is 31 March, 2008.
