Estonia exchanges EU information

Economy, Transport, and Communications
Minister Liina Tonisson and European Commissioner for Enterprise and
Information Society, Erkki Liikanen, signed a memorandum on Estonia
joining the European Union's electronic information-exchange programme,
eContent, ETA reported.

The programme has three main areas of activity: improving access to and
expanding the use of public-sector information, enhancing content
production in a multilingual and multicultural environment, and
increasing the dynamism of the digital-content market.
