(Dow Jones) - U.K. telecommunications industry regulator Oftel Wednesday
welcomed the publication of the European Commission (news - web sites)'s new
European electronic communications regulatory framework. The framework,
contained in four new directives, covers all telecoms and broadcasting
networks across Europe and will take effect in each member state in July
