Spanish Horror Film and Television in the 21st Century
/Spanish Horror Film & Television in the 21^st Century / (Routledge)
aims to provide a comprehensive overview of contemporary Spanish horror
cinema. To this end, the different chapters explore a wide variety of
topics, ranging from industrial aspects to gender issues, as well as
/auteur/ analysis. The study of key films and directors, as well as the
industrial and cultural contexts, allows for a nuanced understanding of
the genre’s evolution and its significance in contemporary Spanish
society. Overall, this book contributes to broader discussions on the
intersections of aesthetics, industry and cultural identity in cinema
and television.
