Televisión y participación política transnacional. Las audiencias de

Las reflexiones sobre el lugar de las audiencias volvieron a cobrar 
fuerza en los últimos años. En consonancia con la disputa alrededor de 
los caminos de la Ley de Servicios de Comunicación Audiovisual en 
Argentina, los debates acerca de la relación entre las producciones 
mediáticas y sus recepciones se volvieron más asiduos como un modo de 
pensar en la relación entre comunicación y democracia. Este libro es 
producto de estas preocupaciones históricas y contextuales; se pregunta 
cómo piensan, dicen y hacen los/las televidentes de nacionalidad 
italiana, y los/las ítalo argentinos respecto de los contenidos 
producidos por la televisión transnacional. La reflexión que subyace 
esta investigación es parte de una problematización más amplia acerca 
del modo en que la televisión se vincula con la identificación con una 
comunidad imaginaria y con la participación política.

/The role of the audiences have gained attention in the last few years. 
In line with the dispute surrounding the Law of Audiovisual 
Communication Services in Argentina, debates about the relationship 
between media productions and their audiences became more frequent as a 
way of thinking about the relationship between communication and 
democracy. This book is the product of these historical and contextual 
concerns. The author wonders how Italian and Italian-argentine 
television viewers living in Buenos Aires think, say and do in reference 
with the contents produced by transnational Italian television. The 
reflection that underlies this research is part of a broader 
problematization about the way in which television links with 
identification with an imaginary community and with political 
participation.///
