Colorado State University seeks an entry-level, tenure-track assistant professor in digital media and emerging journalistic practices, with an emphasis in one or more of the following areas: digital storytelling, content marketing and entrepreneurship, news production and innovation, and audience engagement and media analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong digital journalism background, preferably having worked with news and/or communication start-ups, experience creating content for diverse audiences, and a research agenda that focuses on the impact digital discourse and emerging technologies have on individuals, groups, and/or society. The successful candidate will teach advanced digital journalism and communication concept and skills courses in the undergraduate program, and will teach graduate courses and supervise theses/dissertations in his or her research area.
