[Commlist] Sightlines issue 7: call for submissions - CFP

Call for Submissions: Sightlines: Filmmaking in the Academy Journal Issue 7

The editors from the ASPERA Research Sub-Committee warmly welcome 
submissions for Issue 7 of Sightlines: Filmmaking in the Academy 
journal. This audio-visual publication provides a platform for films 
made in a research context within the higher education sector. There is 
a creative practice research focus to projects published through 
Sightlines Journal whereby production is the method for research 
investigation. Creators are required to secure copyright clearances for 
all non-original material included in any work submitted for publication.
There are no article processing charges associated with submissions.

Submissions will be double peer-reviewed, and peer-reviews will be 
published alongside accepted works. We encourage submissions that work 
across the full range of filmmaking research, including collaborations 
with industry.

URL or download link for both the work and your research statement (up 
to 1,500 words).
* Use Chicago author-date for referencing. A style guide is available

Deadline:
All works must be submitted by 28 February 2025.
The issue is scheduled for publication in November 2025.
