Call for Papers
Issue 68- June 2025
Submission deadline: April 14, 2025

Connectist: Istanbul University Journal of Communication Sciences 
invites academic contributions for it’s 68th issue, scheduled for 
publication in June 2025. We welcome the submission of original research 
articles, reviews, case studies, comparative studies that address 
contemporary issues, challenges and developments in the field of 
communication sciences. We also encourage interdisciplinary approaches 
and studies that explore the intersections of communication sciences 
with other fields such as sociology, psychology, political science and 
cultural studies.

About Journal:
Connectist has been published biannually in June and December since 
1992, is an open access, peer-reviewed, scholarly and international 
journal that publishes high-quality research articles, which undergo a 
rigorous review process by experts in the respective fields.. All 
expenses of the journal are covered by the Istanbul University. 
Processing and publication are free of charge.(web of science q4 journal

Submission Guidelines:
• Articles must be original and not under review elsewhere.
• Manuscripts should be written in English and adhere to the journal’s 
formatting and citation guidelines.
• All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
• Word count must be 6500 – 8500 words for “research articles”, 6500 – 
8500 words for “review articles” and 2000-6400 words for “short notes” 
including references and appendices.
