*CALL FOR PAPERS - AMCAP Journal of Media and Communication Studies (JMCS)*

We are pleased to announce that the AMCAP Journal of Media and 
Communication Studies (JMCS) is now accepting submissions for its 
upcoming issues. JMCS is recognized by the Higher Education Commission 
of Pakistan in the "Y" category, and is an online, double-blind, 
peer-reviewed journal dedicated to promote academic debate and advancing 
knowledge in the field of communication sciences. The journal aims to 
encourage and promote academic dialogues and debates in mass 
communication research and theories from both local and global perspectives.

In the challenging media ecosystems, JMCS invites scholars to contribute 
conceptual and empirical papers, particularly from their local 
standpoints. We are particularly interested in submissions that address 
the following broad areas:

  * Digital Humanities
  * Development & Communication
  * Gender & Communication
  * International Communication
  * Media, Religion & Identity
  * Media, Culture, and Society
  * War, Conflict, and Communication
  * Media, Democracy, and Peace Studies
  * Media and Political Economy
