[Commlist] Symposium on "Authors and Characters in Fiction and Film"

Mon Mar 18 18:57:31 GMT 2024

A symposium entitled 'Authors as Characters in Fiction and Film' will be held on Friday 22nd March 2024 on the Arts and Humanities Campus (Campus Lettres et Sciences Humaines) of Nancy, room A145, Université de Lorraine, France. The symposium follows up on a previous event held at the same site on 23rd June 2023 entitled 'Authors as Characters in Fiction'. The idea of the two symposiums is partly to prepare the ground for a multi-day international conference in Nancy to be held in June 2025 entitled 'Authors in Characters in Fiction, Film and Graphic Narratives', whose call for papers will be circulated in the coming months.

All three events are held under the aegis of the research centre IDEA (Unité de Recherche 2338, https://idea.univ-lorraine.fr <https://idea.univ-lorraine.fr/>), with the academic and financial support of the research hub LLECT of the Université de Lorraine, and the School of Arts, Languages and Literatures (UFR ALL) of Nancy.

All interested are welcome, either in person or online. The Microsoft Teams connection is as follows:
