*Call for Papers: /Health & New Media Research (HNMR)/ – Volume 8, Issue 2*

We are pleased to invite submissions for Volume 8, Issue 2 of /Health & New Media Research/ (HNMR), an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal published biannually by the Health & New Media Research Institute at Hallym University, South Korea.

*Aims & Scope*
/HNMR/ focuses on the roles of new media (such as the Internet, mobile devices, games, and virtual reality) in public and environmental health. We encourage interdisciplinary research that tests theory, extends knowledge, or provides innovative solutions in the following areas:

  * New media and public/environmental health
  * Interactive health communication
  * Health education and new media technologies
  * Inequalities in the use of health technology
  * And other related topics

*No Fees for Authors*
We emphasize that there are no article processing charges (APC) or submission fees for authors. This reflects our commitment to making academic research freely accessible to scholars and the public. /HNMR/ is fully funded by the Health & New Media Research Institute, allowing us to provide open access to all publications without financial barriers.

*Author Incentive*
To encourage contributions to our journal as we finalize our application for SCOPUS indexing, we are offering a $300 reward for each accepted manuscript in this issue. This is part of our effort to support high-quality, peer-reviewed research as we prepare for formal indexing in major academic databases.

*Submission Deadline*
The deadline for submissions is *October 31, 2024*. Manuscripts should be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Accepted articles will be published in *December 2024*.
